Yoga and Fitness
I am an ERYT 200 Yoga Instructor and I teach various formats including Power and Vinyasa Yoga, Hot Yoga, Restorative, Yin and Yoga Sculpt. I also teach Barre and Barre fusion. I often combine styles to create a class that invites strength, and stability into a dynamic flow that is challenging yet accessible. I love to weave in yogic mythology to tell a story! 200hr Yoga Teacher Training
I am a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School. My 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Vinyasa Yoga gives you the fundamentals of yoga philosophy, history, anatomy as well as the break down of yoga postures. You will also learn how to sequence and theme your class. You'll learn to teach a yoga class and hold space as a yoga instructor.
Mentorship and Continuing Education
Completed a teacher training but not sure how to hone your skills or what direction to go? This opportunity for yoga teachers to develop their skills and deepen their knowledge of yoga through personal study under the guidance of an experienced mentor. You'll learn the art of sequencing and the importance of class themes as well as holding the seat of the teacher. Looking for continued education credits? I'm a registered continued education provider with the Yoga Alliance.
Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy." A typical session includes chakra balancing or a "tune up".
